#2824 Norco Threshold CX/Gravel Bike

We had some fun with this! The Norco Threshold is a Cyclocross bike. Cyclocross is an off-road race format involving rough, mixed surface racing on a closed circuit, mostly in Belgium and the Netherlands, but growing elsewhere too. The bikes look like road bikes with drop bars and skinnier tyres... but they're the spiritual grandparents of gravel bikes.

And what a gravel bike! It will fit 40mm tyres front and back, and has an enormous gearing range, with 50-34 tooth chainrings and an 11-40(!) cassette. This amazing range gives you the power to climb pretty much anything AND keep up with your riding mates on the tarmac. Gears are mostly Shimano 105 11 speed, and a Shimano GRX clutched rear derailleur has been fitted, giving the capacity for all that gear range, and also reducing the chance of chain drop.

A rare opportunity - we hardly ever see gravel bikes come through.
