We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive in life and work. Every purchase, repair, or donation you make helps empower young Tasmanians through skills, support, and second chances.
We sell a full range of new bikes: kids' bikes, commuters and cruisers, mountain bikes, road & gravel bikes, e-bikes...
Plus helmets, clothing, shoes, lubes and accessories! Every item you buy is doing good, because all proceeds are re‑invested into the Tasmanian Bike Collective.

used bikes
These bikes are generously donated by the public and rebuilt in the Tasmanian Bike Collective’s workshops. Each one goes through a 34‑point check, then our young people and volunteers repair and replace what’s needed.
Every bike is then thoroughly inspected by one of our experienced mechanics. When you ride it away, it’s covered by our quality guarantee too. Unexpected problem? We’ll sort it. Kind of like Marketplace… but without the uncertainty.
high-end used bikes
The Tasmanian Bike Collective and Bikes for Good are blessed to have the support of the bike industry here in Tasmania. We often have ex-hire, old stock and consignment stock too... so you get a great bike for an amazing price. These come with the same quality guarantee and after sales support as our refurbished bikes.
Our in‑house, factory‑trained mechanics are deeply experienced across all kinds of bikes—old and new.
You get to choose whether we use genuine-brand parts or more budget‑friendly generic ones (but only ones we think are worthy).
And for your older bike, sometimes we can even source good second‑hand parts! Quality service, helping you extend the life of your ride.

Got a bike you no longer use? Donate it! We’ll refurbish it in one of our workshops, train young people in the process, and give it a new home. How good is that?
We’re here to support the mission of the Tasmanian Bike Collective-empowering vulnerable and at‑risk young people by giving them real skills and pathways into the workforce.
Bikes for Good provides a welcoming space where they gain experience, prepare for jobs, and build confidence. Like a goodwill store… but with bikes.

Want to sell your bike, but don’t want the hassle of private posting and dealing? We may be able to sell it for you (subject to a few conditions).
Drop in with your bike, have a chat, and we’ll handle the sale: we ask a reasonable commission, so you'll be supporting the mission too!
